I present, for your edification, an extremely annoying animation: Nyan Cat – Peewee Rides a Cow.

If you value your sanity, steer (get it–steer?) clear of this, and any Nyan Cat video. No, really, all seriousness aside, your mind is at risk. Symptoms of Nyan Cat and Nyan Cat clone video viewing include drooling, vacant staring, and “twitchyness”… hmmm, sounds like me when I was in public school…

The extremely popular Nyan Cat video has spawned a slew of videos all attempting to ride the Nyan cat’s popularity. This animation chases the same rainbow, but stars Peewee– and he’s ridin’ a heifer. Hoo-raw!! Yip, Yip!!

Life Skills: Lesson One- Tolerance

I’ve just completed the first Odd Little Egg animation and uploaded it to youtube. It’s titled “Life Skills: Lesson One- Tolerance“. It started as a test for “The Big Spin,” the animation I mentioned in the previous post, but became an animation of it’s own. I’m still working on the dialogue recording and lip syncing on “The Big Spin.” In the meanwhile, I am also working on a few more of these “Life Skills” animations. I should have another out soon. Please take a gander.

New Site, New Animation

I’ve switched my site around. Swept the floors a little, re-stacked the mildewed books into their leaning piles, put the ratty umbrellas back into the the old porcelain urn, chased the mice back into the attic. Generally dusted things off and installed a WordPress blog on the server to run my site from now. The existing portfolio can still be accessed through the menu bar. I have included an Animation link for work that I am feverishly cranking out as we speak… There’s nothing on the animation page yet, hence the feverish cranking. I do have some past animation projects. I’ll put them up as I get sorted out here a little better.

In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at three of the storyboard sketches for my new animation, titled “The Big Spin,” starring The Odd Little Egg and Peewee:

Did an illustration demo and book signing yesterday. The kids were great. It was a lot of fun. Thanks to Julia and Courreges Elementary for setting this up.
Mostly drew goofy pictures on a whiteboard while the kids laughed. Just plain fun.
